Emotions

From My Second Brain

Our bodies are capable of feeling different emotions, these include:

Each emotion gives us different sensations in our bodies and skin but it's important to realise that not everyone experiences these sensations in the same way.

It's important to tell other people how we feel (especially the trickier ones like anger, sadness or worry). Talking to friends and family means they can try and help us feel better, for example if someone is feeling down their friend may try and cheer them up. It can also help to reflect about why you're feeling a certain way as this can help identify what may make you feel better.

Emotions can change the way we feel and react to different situations. For example when we're angry we may say hurtful things we don't mean and when we're sad we may cry more easily.

It's important to remember we don't always have to be happy and it's perfectly normal to feel the other emotions.
