The Christmas story is known as the nativity story. It is a good news story.
As part of the nativity story the Angel Gabriel appeared to Mary to inform her she would give birth to baby named Jesus and that Jesus would be God's son.
Jesus was born in Bethlehem and was visited by Shepherds and some time later three kings who brought gifts - gold, frankincense and myrrh.
