Guide Parent

Guide parents are friends of the parents of a baby who the parents have asked if they will support the baby over the years (a bit like god parents in Christian families). They promise that the baby will always be in their life and will offer love and support.

Although there is no limit on the number of guide parents most familiies will choose between two and six.
