The EYFS Literacy program has mostly been covered by the phonics program provided by Letters and Sounds, Fast Phonics and Reading Eggs.

Show Me Five

When writing sentences we follow the ideas of show me five:

1. Sentences start with a capital letter.
2. We use spaces between words so we can read the sentence.
3. We use our phonics to sound out the words to spell them.
4. We end each sentence with a full stop.
5. We make sure the sentence makes sense.
