Appearance
The General Ledger (otherwise known as main or nominal ledger) contains a collection of accounts which are not otherwise recorded in receivables or payables ledger.
This could include:
- Assets - premises, cars and computers etc.
- Liabilities - overdrafts and bank loans etc.
- Equity (the owner's capital)
- Expenses
- Income
