Camera

Cameras are devices which are used to create photographs.

Cameras are either film based on digital based. Film camera store the images on rolls of light sensitive paper called film, this then needs to be developed and printed to see the images. Digital cameras on the other hand use a large light sensitive sensor and store the images onto memory. The images created on a digital camera can be viewed straight away.

History of cameras

Over 200 years ago the first camera was created called a camera obscura, this was used to take a photo of a view out of french window.

70 years later camera started appearing in shops and we're easier to use, these had rolls of camera film inside. This camera film had to be sent off to be developed so users could see their images.
