View source for Payables (Purchases) Ledger

A payables ledger holds account details for each [[supplier]] who we pay on [[credit]]. It holds details of any [[Purchase|purchases]], anything [[Return|returned]] and any [[Payment|payments]] made. The [[balance]] of this account shows how much money we owe a supplier. This is known as a [[Trade Payable|payable]] or [[Trade Payable|trade payable]].
